PBM Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce the availability of new "D" shaped Donnatal� immediate release tablets for use as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and acute enterocolitis.

The new, "D" shaped Donnatal� tablets assures physicians and patients that the trusted Donnatal� brand is being dispensed.

Donnatal� "D" Shaped Tablets are supplied as white, D-shaped tablets with a debossed "D" on one side and "Donnatal" on the other side. Adults may be dosed three or four times a day according to conditions and severity of the symptoms.

Also available: Donnatal Extentabs� for 12-hour dosing, and new Donnatal� Elixir Grape flavored for pediatric dosing or for adult patients who have difficulty swallowing tablets.

	Only Donnatal Extentabs provide gradual dissolution over 12 hours, distinctively longer than immediate release tablets.

INDICATIONS
Based on a review of this drug by the National Academy of Sciences - National Research Council and/or other information, FDA has classified the following indications as "possibly" effective:
For use as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (irritable colon, spastic colon, mucous colitis) and acute enterocolitis.
